Day 11

 Day #11 5/23

Today I got an early start since I had a few days off over the weekend and was ready to get back to work. I grabbed some breakfast in the dining hall and then went to the library to get some work done in preparation for the express fest on Wednesday. I continued to chip away at some of the research and work for my infographics and then moved on to my paper. I had a productive morning and I went to take a break in the dorm and did a quick 20-minute yoga session to help loosen my legs up after a tough soccer practice in the heat on Sunday. I got some lunch in the dining hall and then got back to work on my computer, getting some more done on my infographics. Even though I’ve stopped looking into new topics and am trying to focus on showing what I’ve learned in the first two weeks, I needed a little bit of a break and so I watched a couple of videos and ted talks about the positive and negative effects of marijuana on mental health. I have procrastinated finishing my woodworking project for a few weeks so I head over to the woodshop to get more work done and I think I’ll finish it completely tomorrow. For my exercise today I went on another run since I have really gotten back into the groove of running every day. My goal was to run a 10k along the rail trail and I beat my previous record which was nice, finishing in 48 minutes. I had an end-of-the-year cookout for baseball to finish off the day and I head back to the dorm to get some more work done and prepare for the final day of senior project tomorrow.
